Fishermen selling their catch under the watchful eyes of the police, Karaköy, Istanbul, Turkey

On the northern side of İstanbul's Galata Bridge, Karaköy, the modern name for ancient Galata, is a commercial quarter in the Beyoğlu district, just north of the Golden Horn. Early in the morning, fishermen dock their small open boats on the seafront to sell the catch from the previous night.
